It has a pitch adjustment and water spray system to help tune out black sand. This machine operates on 3 gallons of water and can process 70 pounds of concentrates in an hour. It runs on any 12-volt automotive battery and comes with an owner’s manual.
The Mountain Goat Gold Trommel is a reverse helix system that weighs 16 pounds and is portable for one person to carry. It is similar to large mining trommels used by placer mining companies, but it screens placer material to 0.5 inches or less. It has a nugget trap, retractable legs, and a molded handle. It requires a 12-volt battery with 17 amperes or more and runs for 3 hours at the right speed. A 750 GPH pump and spout are included.
